| It has already been three years since HA-LU's grand opening in trendy Mt Hawthorn, in which time the restaurant has garnered many prestigious awards. While taking pains to preserve the strengths of Japanese cooking, the HA-LU kitchen is also adept at incorporating the flavours of other cuisines - appropriate for its multicultural Australian location. |
The menu is always changing to make use of seasonal ingredients and provide daily specials. Brushing away the staid image of "sushi, sashimi and tempura", it features numerous innovative dishes. HA-LU liberally uses fresh seafood and local meat such as beef and lamb to offer creations that take standard Japanese cuisine to new levels. |
